Alex is an undergraduate student studying English & Comparative Literature and Food Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His academic and professional interests include environmental justice, storytelling, politics, and food systems. Alex joined the UNC Re-Energize team in December 2021 and has also held internships with the Orleans Public Defenders in New Orleans, Louisiana and the Stronger Stories Agency in Lewes, England. He was selected to co-curate TEDx’s 2021 UNC conference, leading a team in collaboration with Innovative Carolina.
